  4. This is the shareware version of Ncrypt,
  5. Version no 1.02.

  7. This edition is for evaluation purposes only. You are licensed to use this software
  8. freely for 30 days, after this evaluation period, should you wish to continue using
  9. ncrypt you should purchase a registered version otherwise you are obliged to dicontinue
  10. using ncrypt and safedrive.
  11. n.b. the mail facilities are disabled in the shareware version.

  32. Ncrypt 
  33. ------
  34. ncrypt is a file management progam which provides facilities for file encryption,
  35. compression and archiving. It is ideal for the secure transfer of files accross the 
  36. internet or other vulnerable paths.

  38. safedrive
  39. ---------
  40. Safedrive creates a password protected encrypted pseudo drive on your existing hard
  41. disk, Providing security on your local p.c. N.B. it does not prevent others from
  42. moving,erasing or copying your files, it only prevents them from viewing the
  43. contents of a file, keeping your information safe from prying eyes. 
  44. n.b. the archive directory created in the safedrive drive is for enrypted files
  45. only, all files stored here will be encrypted once and will not be decrypted when
  46. safedrive starts. to decrypt these files move them into any other directory in
  47. safedrive which does not contain the archive directory in the path. the archive
  48. directory and any subdirectories should be used for storing files that are not 
  49. currently in regular use.
